Development of a software that was able to segment cardiac sounds and classify them as normal or disease.
The segmentation of the cardiac sounds used Hidden Markov Models.
The classification of these sounds required Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients, fourier coefficients and a KNN classifier.
